Myofascial Release For the Pelvis, Low Back, Legs and Feet
This is a gentle, therapeutic class that will show you how to release the tight spots and fascia (connective tissue) in your body. We use tennis balls and other props to release tightness in all the areas. By doing so, the asanas (postures) flow more freely and allow the body to return to its natural flow. If you can get up and down off the floor, you can participate in this class. Come join us for an afternoon of fun and relaxation!
Instructor: Jacqui Sweeney, MS, C-IAYT, RYT 500, has been teaching yoga since 2004 and is certified yoga therapist. She teaches therapeutic yoga in Waltham, MA and Northeastern University, where she manages one of the cooperative education programs. She’s been educating students and employers on the value of experiential learning since 1988 and presents workshops on cooperative education at national conferences.
