Yoga for Balance

6-week series  Saturdays  12-1 pm

Starts March 2nd, ends April 6th 

Learn techniques to achieve better balance on and off the mat. In addition to stretching and strengthening flows, this workshop will include alignment awareness, walking, and practices to help you achieve greater balance in your body, energy, thoughts, emotions and spirit.

We are collaborating with Doctor of Physical Therapy student researchers from Simmons University who hope to collect data about yoga and its impact on balance in people with Parkinson’s disease. Participation in the study is optional. Please click the button below to learn about this unique program.  Taught by Brahmi Gold-Bernstein, Director TriYoga Boston, C-IAYT (certified Yoga Therapist), E-RYT 500, Senior TriYoga Teacher Trainer.  Brahmi has been practicing yoga since 1975. She has developed teacher training programs on Yoga for Parkinson’s. She worked with Lorrie Jacobsohn and the APDA to develop an 8-week series on Yoga for those newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
