Yoga for Balance
6 Week Series For those those living with Parkinson’s
March 2 – April 6
Learn techniques to achieve better balance on and off the mat. In addition to stretching and strengthening flows, this workshop will include alignment awareness, walking, and practices to help you achieve greater balance in your body, energy, thoughts, emotions and spirit.
We are collaborating with Doctor of Physical Therapy student researchers from Simmons University who hope to collect data about yoga and its impact on balance in people with Parkinson’s disease. Participation in the study is optional. Please review the consent form. It details what is involved in the study.
